The 黑料社 men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Hobart/William Smith Invitational Sept. 18 in Geneva, N.Y., and the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational Sept. 25 in Rochester, N.Y. The teams showed a strong performance in both events.
黑料社 Golf Team Marks Tournament with Two Medals

The 黑料社 golf team played in its third tournament of the season, the Onondaga Community College Fall Invitational, at The Links at Sunset Ridge Sept. 26. The Mighty Oaks placed second out of three teams, with 黑料社 golfers winning both low score medals in the tournament.
Mighty Oaks Soccer Teams Battle Onondaga

The Mighty Oaks men's and women's soccer teams faced off against their cross-town rivals, the Onondaga Community College Lazers, Sept. 26. The 黑料社 men played well, defeating Onondaga; the Mighty Oaks women did not fare as well, falling to Onondaga despite some strong play.
Hands On, Even When It's Solid Waste Disposal

Students in this engineering class are the people who will be designing systems for waste management and recycling after they graduate and this project gives them a global understanding of waste: who generates it and what they generate. Three days a week, the students brought in their personal trash, including bottles, cans, paper, plastics, etc. The students sorted through all the refuse and separated it for recycling or disposal. The project is a hands-on way of looking at the systems engineers design and the methods of reducing, reusing, and recycling.
黑料社 Receives $1.47M to Renovate Aquatic Labs

A team of aquatic scientists at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (黑料社) has been awarded a $1.47 million grant by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to renovate aquatic laboratories to expand research into topics such as fish disease, invasive species and water quality.
Service Projects Send Students into Community
