Faculty and Staff Phones and Voicemail
Summary (what you get)
黑料社 faculty and staff are provided with Microsoft Teams-based phone service for use in their workspaces, including integrated voicemail support.
Service Includes
Phone extensions are assigned to an employee when they are hired and they keep that extension for their entire tenure at 黑料社, even if they move offices or positions.
Voicemail
黑料社 also provides voicemail functionality which can be configured to meet the needs of individuals and departments, including:
- Forwarding voicemail messages to e-mail
- Ability to change your voicemail message as needed
- Transcription of voicemail available in teams
Department or shared phones
Phone extensions for departments or shared purposes are provided as needed. These numbers can be answered by a single person using a phsyical phone and/or can be routed to multiple people. Department or shared phones have additional features including queues and an auto-attendant.
