Summary (what you get)
Campus printers are available for use by faculty, staff, and students. Printers are available across campus.

Faculty and staff print to departmental or campus provided printers
Printers are available in all buildings across campus and are often shared by multiple people in an office or a floor. Each printer is named in using the building + department/location. Directions to install a printer are available in the CNS self-service portal.
These printers can also be used by graduate students teaching courses. Please have your faculty member contact the CNS helpdesk with your name, 黑料社iD, and the name of the printer.
Students
Students receive 500 print credits at the beginning of the fall semester. The balance is refreshed in August each year. Students can print to the multi-function device printers in computer labs and the library using any public desktop computer, or through our print portal located at . Note: Printing from a public computer provides the most flexibility for print settings.
If you run out of print credits, you can go to the Cashier's Office online storefront to purchase additional printing units. Printing unit costs are:
- $5.00 for 125
- $10.00 for 250
- $20.00 for 500
Printing from Personal Devices
Students, faculty, and staff can print from personal devices but ONLY to public printers through the print portal, https://printing.esf.edu. On the print portal you can:
- Send jobs to a printer
- View print history
- Cancel a job/request a refund
- View print rates
Printing Large Format Posters
Students, faculty, and staff can print larger format posters on a plotter printer located at the CNS helpdesk on the 3rd floor of Baker Labs. There is a dedicated computer in the Baker 319 computer lab and the number of credits needed are dependent upon the size of the poster. Printing posters can often take up to 30 minutes depending on a variety of factors so please make sure to plan accordingly.
Service Does Not Include
- High-volume printing needs should be sent to the Copy Center (multi-page course materials, manuscripts, etc.)
- Departments with their own printers are responsible for supplies, maintenance, and support contracts.
